*Call to Worship

All the promises of God find their Yes in Christ.  That is why we utter the Amen through him, to the glory of God.  But it is God who establishes us with you in Christ, and has commissioned us.  God has put God's seal upon us and given us to God's Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.  Let us worship God.  Amen.

*Hymn of Praise     "O God, Our Help in Ages Past"     UMH 117

*Prayer of Praise

God of promise and fulfillment, hear our resounding "Amen" to your glorious deeds.  You caused Christ to come to earth as our redeemer and the giver of new life.  You sent forth your Holy Spirit to guide us with counsel and might.  You commissioned us as your people, sealed by your covenant and empowered by your grace.  We laud your manifold deeds of mercy, and say "Amen" to the glory of your holy name.  Amen.

*Gloria Patri:

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
